I've written about their collaborative efforts here before and I couldn't miss the chance to highlight this one-day project carried out by the Kiwanis and Optimist Clubs in Sandy, Oregon. They recently helped clean, polish and spruce up the grounds at the Guide Dogs for the Blind Oregon Campus. One can only imagine what that includes and yes, dog-washing was part of the mix.
Find new and innovative ways for your Optimist Club to reach out in your community. It's amazing what you will learn and who you will meet.
Thanks to the Sandy Optimist Club for the tip. Next to Optimist Clubs, dogs are my favorite thing!
